Animal World, Fleetwood

Farmer Parr's is a family run rare breeds farm in Fleetwood, near
Blackpool in England. It is managed by Mr. James Parr. It was set up in summer
1996, and it is home to Llamas, Red deer, Emu and lots lots more. It also has
many horses, some special breeds. It has its own country life museum, pottery
shop and large water garden.
One of the main attractions to Farmer
Parr's is the rare breeds. Many different rare species of cattle, sheep,
poultry, horses and many more bring flocks of tourists all year round to visit
them. In summer, our large paddock areas allow the animals to have a run in the
open space and this is great for customers who wish to walk around viewing the
many rare breeds.

The Country life museum was set up originally many years ago,
although 3 years ago the managers decided to relocate it at Farmer Parr's due
to its growing interest with tourism. It boasts a wartime army truck, old
combine harvesters, and house, shop and even jail settings, all constructed
from different pieces of history.
