My Life Story - page four From the age of ten we had a great time. We went to Lourdes in France. We went to meet Santa in Sweden. We went to Florida, to meet all Stacey's Favourite characters. At the age of twelve Stacey developed a scoliosis, a curve in her spine. We knew it was a characteristic of Rett Syndrome and had spent a long time providing supportive seating but she still got it.
