I am amazed by your courage Stacy. Our friends daughter has recently been given the diagnosis of this condition and they are overwhelmed by sadness. I hope, in time that they will find the strengh to come and read your web site.

Dearest Stacey, thank you for this web site. I feel I have gained new friends in this world. I love learning about your courage, and particularly the feeling of love and caring that I felt from your mom to you. Continue to celebrate your life. Do you still have a dog? I have two yorkshire terriers, they are gangsters and always in trouble, but I love them madly. I also have a parrot who imitates Pavoratti, so you can see my life is filled with barks and screams. I would not want it any other way. You are a beautiful girl.

I am mum to Keisha who is 20 She has rs and incredibally our rett journey mirrors yours. It was uplifting to read Staceys book. Keisha has had a g tube and now a j tube since 1997 and has been nil by mouth all of that time she alswo has a scoliosis fusion in 2004. This left her in shock for a few years and seemed to blow out her inner candle. You guys are the first RS parents that I have spoken to in about fifteen years. I feel liberated and comforted to know this journey is done by many.
