Strange matters

Strange, but these happened to be true !

What a coincidence !
One of the most strangest coincidences what had to be reported are the shipwrecks of three ships in the Street of Menai in front of the coast of Wales. At December 5th 1664 a ship sank and there was one survivor of the 81 passengers, his name was Hugh Williams. At December 5th 1785 there was another ship that sank at the same place. All passengers lost their lives but one survived, his name : Hugh Williams. Horrible, isn't it ? But on December 5th 1860 a small ship sunk at the same passage. All passengers lost their lives and only one survived, his name again was Hugh Williams.

Since April 1968 there was a appearance seen above the roofs of two coptic churches in the outside area of Caïro who suprised the believers and sceptic people. The appearance is seen in the early morning hours and according to some witnesses it is the Holy Virgin. The first appearance was seen by the Coptic church of the Holy Maria in Zeitun. In three years thousands of people visit this nightly phenomenon to witness.

After 1971 the phenomen was not to be seen anymore, but in 1986 it began to manifest again above the Coptic church of the Holy Demiana. According to witnesses the visual appearance was together with smell of incense and the whole dome looks like to glow when the appearance moved above it.

Coptic vision
The police of Caïro was forced to maintain order because there was so many interest by the church of the Holy Demiana. An appearance of 20 minutes was described in the local newspaper by Mousad Sadik. Scientific investigators have tried to declared this phenomenon as false, hallucinations or a natural visual appearance and even as electric discharges of the roof of the church, but nobody has given a satisfied explanation of this phenomenon.

Electro-osmose
About 1975 Joe Orchard, a former shipsman of the Royal Navy, and his family started to experience some strange matters in their home in the town of Adisham in the county of Kent.
Doors and even taps got loose of their fastening and fly around. A ceiling crashed without any indicatable reasons, furniture became soaking wet, electric household equipment shows strange failures. Eventually the Orchards were forced to leave their home.
After long consideration Joe Orchard draw the conclusion that the strange matters are caused by a phenomenon he called 'Electro-osmose'.
He argued that a high voltage cable along their home leak electricity, a force that caused all the trouble in their home. After he grounded their home with electrodes who were buried deep in their garden, the family returned to their home.
Joe Orchard go to law with a process against the South Eastern Electricity Board, the electricity company of their district, to get compensation. The public utility refused to take their responsibility and trusted that the judge was on their side. After a trial of twelve days, the jury was under the impression that the Orchard family had blow the whole case up to force the electricity company to pay. We have told the truth in court, but we were brand as liars, June Orchard declared later.
